Background

Goldwin started its history in 1950 from a small knit fabric factory, Tsuzawa Knit Fabric Factory, in Oyabe City in Toyama Prefecture. It had grown into a dependable brand that builds high-end apparel for both the city life and adventures on the slopes. Following the brand’s selection for competition uniform in the 1964 Tokyo Summer Olympics, the brand provided wears of fellow international ski teams over the years.

design approach

The objective of the project was to expand a chosen brand’s product line into skincare. Goldwin offers premium skiing and lifestyle apparel which combined simplicity, durability, design and practicality for the best city and outdoor lifestyle. The sophisticated and innovative apparels attracted a large following of consumers and athletes that preferred unisex product. Embedding its brand identity in simplest form to its products, the new skin care line hope to present the brand’s versatility, practicality and technicality for every occasion.
